2023 Winter Workshops
We are very excited to be teaching workshops again this winter! Join us as we get in the holiday spirit in our newly designed field barn! This space has hosted our summer workshops, and we are excited to start hosting our wreath workshops in this space as well! Beautiful views and the spacious workspace make the perfect environment to create! You will learn how to design and build your own wreath with our own beautiful dried and locally foraged ingredients to take home.
We are offering three workshop slots, each have limited spots to give each attendant space and direction as we build our creations.
Evergreen Wreath Workshops
In these workshops you will learn how to create a full and textural wreath with mixed evergreen boughs. These fragrant wreath bases are composed with balsam, white pine, cedar, princess pine, and juniper. Designs will be built on a crimped wreath ring that makes a 22–24 inch wreath. At the start of the workshop, we will provide instructions in a step-by-step demo on how to hand spin your evergreen bunches to the frame. You will finish by learning to decorate your take home wreath with dried and foraged ingredients! We will also be on hand for helpful guidance while you are building your wreath. Light refreshments will be served.
MATERIALS INCLUDED: You will receive your frame, wire, wire picks, mixed evergreens, and a large display of eclectic decorations. Clippers will be supplied, please bring your own gloves if you do not want to get your hands dirty. Please wear comfortable clothing and footwear that may get a little sap or dirt on them.

PAPERWHITE BULB PLANTER WORKSHOP
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 1Oth. 12p-2p. $125
Join us for a new style of workshop this winter! We have teamed up with Toni of T-Shea Pottery to offer a unique and fun learning experience!
You will be provided with a beautiful handmade planter custom made by Toni in our favorite ‘chowder’ glaze. We will provide all the ingredients and instruction to build and care for your take home planter full of paperwhite bulbs. As you tend to your growing planter at home, you will start to see blooms within 4-6 weeks. The arrival of these fragrant and delicate blooms is always a welcome gift in the darker winter months.
Materials include pebbles for drainage, soil, and bulbs as well as fresh green & Spanish moss. We will also provide extra fun ingredients such as branches and cones to make your planter even more special.
